Worked as a teaching assistant while in university, tutored students in history and writing. Took a number of philosophy and english classes and am comfortable explaining many of the concepts. I love helping students learn and understand the subjects, and helping them develop methods by which they can continue to build on the knowledge. I took a number of english classes, such as Composition 101/102, British Literature, and Theory-based studies. My philosophy classes included 19th century western philosophy, philosophies of peace, modern philosophy, and ancient and medieval philosophy. In regards to history, I specialized in 20th century western history, with classes such as World War I, America to/since 1890, Government and Politics of Post-Communist Europe, the Third Reich, and World Since 1945.
